Hello guys,
thanks for wonderful feedback on A small talk at the back of beyond. I have never expected this game to become so popular and to get so good ratings!

Thanks to your feedback I am able to improve the game by adding new statements/questions that LDAC is able to process.
I have already expanded the library a bit, but I wasn't yet able to dig through every suggestion submitted :D

I would also like to ask you to stop submitting ideas on "other endings" or "adding more rooms" - the main game core is finished, the story is determined as it is, I will not add any other ending, sorry!

Besides that, keep the ideas coming!

Discovering these little jokes and oddities is great fun.
I know I'll be spending time finding them.

Whilst we are on the topic of adding conversation, if LDAC could sing Daisy Bell, that would be marvelous.

You saying you won't add any new endings kind of ruins the game for me now. Either I escape on an escape pod, while LDAC dies alone and scared, and I myself most likely die due to only a three percent chance of survival, or I die with LDAC.

If I could just talk with LDAC after I choose to stay, then I wouldn't care about only two endings. All I want to do is talk with LDAC in our last minutes of life, so I have more of a chance to bond with him. Maybe add a timer once you decide to stay, because I want to discuss with him. Maybe ask him if he believes in an afterlife, and if all other LDACs can feel emotion like him.

I've never before played a game where I was emotionally moved by a computer. How did you ever manage to make me want to choose death to quell the fears of artificial intelligence?

I discovered just after visiting your page you also made the game deep sleep. The black creatures on that game still haunt even after not playing it for months. I don't think there's ever been a game that's ever scared me so much..

In short, your ability at flash game design is superb. But moreso, your ability to tell a story and have an emotional effect on people is just completely unmatched. I hope you make a hundred more games just as awesome as this one was. =)

every time i try to get the other medal, i can't do it. that poor AI. i couldn't leave it after what it said, the poor thing. every single time.

For the longest time I thought this was an alien game where something was in the vents (overlooked the ags). Can you do some response saying there is nothing there. Also, how about a response to is anyone alive? (again i though it was aliens)

The sequel of the game should be some hope (Idea)
The end where we leave the AI:-
We found a ship accidently passed by the area,and the ship is actually a PIRATE SHIP!then we gave a small talk and if we manage to get them trust you (Lying,telling the truth etc) then we saved our old ship from the red giant..then the pirates betrayed us..but there was something else..The AI is helping us to get the pirates away..And the AI is...Something else..DUN DUN DUN!(Depends on you Script)

The end where we stay with the AI:-
We actually found a way to save the ship and manage to get it working,the AI is very happy to see us back..We felt strange because the AI act almost like a human..Then we manage to get out of the red giant area and bump into a ship that passed by..And that is the pirates..The AI helped us on what to do and where to go to run away from the pirates..(Kinda like a small talk)..But we failed,the pirates got us and we had a small talk to the pirate..Then..A miracle happened..What is it?(It depends on your idea Script..)
Anyways,this is just some random ideas i got from some friends who also played the game and they're quite pissed off by the endings..So yeah..I hope you can improve that idea quite a bit because i know its kinda lame..So yeah,i hope you make the sequel for that!Bye!PEACE!

I've loved all your games so far :) In my opinion, as awesome as 400 years was, a small talk blew it out of the water. With the tear jerking, thought provoking gameplay, it's just incredible. And the AI is pretty realistic for a game in the late-beta stage. If you're still open to suggestions, there was one thing that bugged me a bit though. According to LDAC, 90% of the ship's structure was destroyed by a micro-meteor shower. LDAC also says the two of you will die within 0.002 seconds of a hull breach. Just seems like a contradiction to me. Keep up the great work! :)

I really love this game! It's the only game of this type I've played so far, but it is awesome. I like how you can interact with it. And how you added the newgrounds thing, this is great! It's amazing that LDAC has a personality. Keep doing such good stuff!
